Artificial Kidney Unit
Why choose us?

The Artificial Kidney Unit consists of staff members who stand out for their excellent scientific training and human-centred approach. Thanks to its modern infrastructure, we have managed to create a well organised Chronic Dialysis Centre which operates independently from the other departments.

Patients are constantly under the close supervision of the nursing and medical staff, who have been selected with strict criteria for their high level of education and their unquestionable experience in the field. Our doctors are present at every dialysis, while they remain at the disposal of patients around the clock, both for the provision of advice and the treatment of an emergency.

Finally, the hospitalisation of patients takes place in a peaceful environment, in full harmony with the natural beauty of the wider area, which contributes significantly to the good mental health of patients.

A few words from Lazaros Yonanlis, Nephrologist, Head of the Artificial Kidney Unit

"The management of the Hospital honoured me by assigning me the responsibility of the newly established Artificial Kidney Unit. My aim is to be worthy of this trust, highlighting all the dynamics of the Unit, within the framework of the capabilities of St. Luke's Hospital. The Artificial Kidney Unit is designed with the most modern specifications and reflects the perceptions prevailing in all major centres. My desire is to make it a reference unit, providing high-quality medical services, in a way that, in line with current developments, will put it on a pioneer trajectory."
