Patients from abroad

At the Clinic “AGIOS LOUKAS” we welcome many patients from abroad. Clinic staff are by your side to assist you and your family before you arrive at the Clinic, during your appointments and after you return home. The staff of the Clinic is multilingual and will gladly serve you.


The staff, who are responsible for International Patients, will arrange your appointment, find interpreters, guide you in the organisation of your trip and stay and answer any other questions you may have about charges and insurance coverage. It will also give you all the necessary information about hotels, restaurants, entertainment venues, banks and places of worship in the wider area.

Patients from abroad with or without private insurance

If you have health insurance, we will print out all the necessary documents and send them either to your insurance company or directly to you if you prefer.

If you do not have insurance, you will need to pay a down payment before your first appointment. This amount will be deducted from the final amount you will need to pay.

Our staff will answer any questions you have regarding charges, payments, refunds and other matters. You will have to pay your bill in full at the end of your visit. ‍


Effective planning

In most cases, you will receive the diagnosis and treatment within the same visit. Usually, doctors report the results of diagnostic tests to patients a day or two after the completion of the examination. The appointment schedule can often be compressed into a short time frame for international patients. This means less time away from home, fewer expenses and more efficient use of the time of patients and their family members.
