Kallifatidis

With long-term experience of more than ten years in the advanced methods of cardiovascular imaging (Computed Coronary Imaging - MRI of the Heart - Stress MRI of the Heart), the Department of Cardiovascular Imaging of the Clinic “AGIOS LUCAS”, headed by the Specialist Radiologist Mr. Alexandros Kallifatidis, plays a leading role in the diagnostic approach and investigation of cardiovascular diseases in Greece and the wider Balkan region, working in the standards of similar international specialized cardiovascular imaging centers.

Mr. Alexandros Kallifatidis, with many years of specialization and long experience, with training in Heidelberg (University Cardiology Clinic “Medizinische Klinik” -Prof.Katus- Prof.Korosoglou, Germany) and in Marseille (Radiology Department, University Hospital '''La Timone” Prof.Bartone Prof.Jacquier, France) and regular cooperation with the Radio-Diagnostic Department of the University Hospital “Hopital Nord” (Saint Etienne-Prof.Croisis, France), pioneering in this field (CT and MRI of the Heart, Stress MRI Cardiac) in Greece, applying the most modern techniques and the most modern protocols (T1/T2/T2* Mapping, Myocardial Strain, CMR Stress Perfusion, 3D Printing), for the investigation of heart and vascular diseases in daily clinical practice.

He holds the European Board of Cardiovascular Radiology (EBCR) and an active core member, and examiner, of the Education and European Diploma Committee of the European Society of Cardiovascular Radiology (ESCR).
He also holds the title of Fellow of the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging (FEACVI), under the auspices of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC)
Since 2007 he has been working continuously at the Radiological Diagnostic Department of the Clinic “AGIOS LOUKAS”.
At the same time, he has given numerous speeches and presented results of important scientific studies at international and Greek conferences, and organizes scientific events and educational courses with international participation and internationally renowned speakers.
He is an elected member of the Radiological Society of Northern Greece.
